haha since I was loading up the northeast forum, I'd figured I'd do one more post.

What was the mixture ration for you to "tint" your tail lights with clear coat.

I know you said it was 2 coats of clear with 15 "drops" in. But was ther 15 drops in 1/2 gal, a whole gal?

And who painted it? I pretty sure the Wentz auto body we have around here would say no because they will be painting my tail lights. lol

My buddy painted it, he has an auto body shop.

It was a small amount of clear. The first time he sprayed it with 15 drops of black in some clear and it was too light. He put another 15 drops in a small container of clear and shot it again.
It was one of the small paint containers, IIRC, something like you would use for airbrushing.

this is somnething that you should have the mix for.

True, but at least he has an idea of where to start.
I had it done twice because I didn't want it too dark the first time. Better too light than too dark on the first shot.
