OP jrreaga Newbie J Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 6	i have a 02 cougar and i cant get the torque converter to line up to my 2.5 v6. the shaft inside the tranny is longer than the one out of my original tranny. heres my question, can i possibly change the bushing on the crank and make my new tranny fit or is there no way to make this tranny work? everyone in the cougar forums told me to try here.
