Hey guys, I'm new here. I took my car in to a friends shop a while back, but he couldn't get me a PCV valve at the time because it was backordered, since then he has moved into the real estate business and I had forgotten about it. But remembering now, I was hoping someone could help me find some kind of documentation on the procedure. I'm not very experienced automotively, but I guess it's not too late to start. I have a 1998 2.5L Contour.

Thanks!

The PCV valve is a bit of a PITA to replace on this engine.

I wouldn't suggest it as your first DIY project on this engine.

That said, AutoZone's website has pretty good instructions for many things on these cars. Look for their online repair guides and bookmark it once found.

Welcome aboard!

Steve
