I'll soon be sending out BLKOUT2's UIM to be max-honed. With this and a modified LIM(bore increased with custom butterfiles) i'm hopping to inch closer and closer to mid 14's.

After hitting the 14 second mark(even if only by .001) i'm very excited to see just how deep into the 14's i can push this 2.5 N/A. I have another drag day Aug 4th, for which i'll be installing my test pipe, it made a big difference on my SE, hoping for similar gains with the SVT.

I'm hoping to at least run with the MAX UIM yet this year, other plans for the 2.5 this fall:

Modified LIM
Head porting on a spare set of heads i have
I may considder trying out some drag radials as i've been running all my runs to date on some rock-hard rubber.
Possibly tune for A/F and Timing adjustment.

I have a Salvage title SVT that i'll be throwing a 3L into with some goodies for fun this winter for my open-track car.

So, any plans/predictions\suggestions to help achieve my goals of running with some of the 3L boys with the N/A 2.5?

Don't try hot dogging it around a new development and roll it trying to dodge a "deer".

Well if you are going all out... Pete had the SHM long tube headers and he was telling me that they are better (power all throughout the band) then the MSDS ones... he had them both and like the SHM's better.

Not interested right now...

I do have future(2008) plans for a nitrous setup, should be an eye catching layout.

Hence me saying 'if you are going all out.' I'm just saying, pete seemed very talkative about them... nearly had me shelling the 1,200 they cost, out.

Last I checked they aren't in production and haven't been for many years.
