is the switch the same from all years, all models?

I need to replace the one on my mystique and have one from my contour which is good

I'm pretty sure that the mystiques are different... IIRC

yes the dash itself is different, this I know ...

but what about the switch, the top of the switch that you can see when you pull the knob off seems the same, how about the rest of it ?

Maybe get the whole assembly... I can take pics of mine tonight.

I have the dash apart to paint from the white (ugh ) to black...

Now if I had the car repainted white, it would have looked sharp (fairly professional job... they put the clearcoat on really thick... very hard to sand off!), but as of now, only thing it matches is the white guages.

...and I don't think I wanna paint the car white, either.
