Hello all,

I reciently replaced all the front hub bearings, rotors and pads on the front of my 99 SVTC (95k miles). A few days ago, a metal on metal 'clunk' appeared. After having a good look at it, looks like i busted them ALL during the replacement. Teach me to work under a time stress.

Anyway, wanting some input on what to do next: replace the CV joints over the weekend, replace the axles, or replace with upgraded axles (and if so, suggestions?).

Thanks in advance.

do a search in transaxle...I posted where you can get a GCK axle for about 80 a piece shipped. I just put one on last weekend.

I had some in, split my inner boots and started to leak CV grease. Ordered some replacement GCK's and then rolled my Contour and totaled it! I now have two brand new SVT CV joints w/ABS sitting in my garage. $160 shipped ... interested?
