Can anyone tell me if there is a structural body construction difference between ford contour models?

Is it theoretically possible to take a Contour GL body and make it an SVT by installation all svt parts on it.

theoretically you could, but it would require a lot of money and work. The actual shell of the car isnt any different i dont think. But in order to completely clone an svt you would need a full svt motor, 5 speed mtx-75 along with svt clutch and flywheel, full svt interior, body cladding, wheels, brakes, exhaust, etc, etc.

It is a question of structural integrity. Did ford changed the SVT body or just the engine, suspension ETC

The physical unibody, chassis, and frame work are identical, afaik.

Suspension setup, engine cams, uim, lim, injectors, pcm, tb, intake, MAF, rims, brakes, rotors, bumpers, sideskirts, grille, interior, exhaust, etc, all all different.

Structurally, the car is the same. It is the same platform.
