Where should i tap into my exhaust for my LC-1 Wideband 02?

Im thinking right after the joint in the y-pipe. Unless i can do it in the pipe before the main cat, that way i wont ruin my nice shiny Weapon R Y-pipe.

Since this is the forced induction forum and you're talking about a Y pipe i guess you have a supercharger... but anyway. Mounting it in the Y could yield laggy results and both banks "should" be equal so mount it closer.

and for future people who search mount it after a turbo. How close depends on how often you want to replace the sensor.

didn't I already answer this????

In your case in the y-pipe or immediately after. It will read lower than if near the head but still be fast responding. It will read more accurately with header wrap.

Besides, you never can see your shiny pipes on our engines, the bay is too packed with....well...The engine!

I posted a thread about this in dyno/drag. Search there, got quite a few replies IIRC.

Yea you did Tom, i just wanted some other opinions, even tho yours is the most valid because you've worked around these cars a lot. Im in no means trying to ask someone for better advice. Just want to make sure is all.
