I am lacking one peice to getting the turbo installed. I have a 5/8 barbed 90degree elbow in my oil pan and straight 5/8 barbed outlet on oil drain flange. I am looking for 5/8 hose that is more than sufficent to use for my oil drain.

Aeroquip from autozone carries a 1000 psi and high temp 5/8 hose for 80 bucks since it only comes in 6 ft and it is also braided SS too.

My first setup had a blue high temp hose supplied from ADC and now the hose has a burn in it from the downpipe.

What is least recommended hose to use on the oil drain I also have a T3/T4 turbo too.

I plan on just getting a braided hose and just clamping the hose with hose clamps. Will the hose clamp down. I am trying to avoid using the AN-10 ends if possible.

The oil drain is really just gravity so you don't need anything that will handle insane pressure or anything.

Just get something rated for oil and some higher temps and hose clamp it down.

also...copper tubing works well...that's what I did. But as far as rubber if you get some that can handle oil and heat you're okay...I would keep an eye on it all the time though just in case.

5/8" fuel line from advance works perfect for an oil return with some simple worm clamps.

1/2" inside diameter is a sufficient oil drain line. I don't know if your hose is 5/8" inside diameter but 1/2" is way big enough. With 5/8" hose your outside diameter is 7/8" or more with the braiding, probably closer to 1" OD.
Its no wonder it will hit everything from the turbo to the pan. 1/2" hose will still be almost 3/4" OD but fit much better between stuff.

That is the reason I made my drain from copper tubing and elbows, so that it had an OD of about 9/16" and wouldn't burn through at all. IN fact, that copper drain I made in 2003 is still good. Beat that suckas!

Well I did find a braided hose 5/8 at autozone 375 degrees and came in a 3f piece for 35 bucks. I received it next day and no shipping from autozone. I will say this guys when I looked through there performance books they have everything you can think about for cheap and have it next day no extra charge.

I will be checking all my accessories throught them from now on first. Thanks for the info guys.
