Hi Folks,
Has anyone ever installed a TransGo Shift Kit to their CD4E transmission I intend to overall my trannie soon & I had acquired the kit some time ago & thought I will install it during rebuilding process. However, I have a concern with the instructions that I am seeking clarification on & I figure that someone that has already done the installation will be able guide me.
Regards,

Rebuilt the entire valvebody & added the shift kit while in there. Check out the pics: http://www.fastcougar.com/cd4e_rebuild/

Valve body rebuild pics begin at IMG_3200.jpg

Thanks for the response it's greatly appreciated & the pictures are amazing. Nevertheless I will greatly appreciate your response to the following question regarding the installation of the TransGo Shift Kit.
On the kit instructions sheet the information for Step 4 reads as follows: â??Drill two .060 to .094 in the bottom of this passageâ?
My question is, are these holes to be drilled with a bit thatâ??s .060 - .094 in size or are these dimensions for the depth of the holes to be drilled. In the event itâ??s the former & not the latter how deep should these holes to drilled.

Drill bit diameter needs to fall within that range.

4/64" = 2/32" = 1/16" = 0.0625

Here is where I'm thinking that refers to IIRC

Yes, it's a piston bore, so you must first remove the piston.
