OP phinfan New CEG\'er P Joined: May 2005 Posts: 23 Ozarks of Missouri	anyone know of a source for a 2000 fuel pump for a zetec that dosnt cost $400.00 Oreillys tell me the cant get one and autozone wants $420.00. this will be the second pump for this car luckly the first was covered by the warenty. thanks phinfan "We are the people our parents warned us about" 2000 Ford Contour SE zetec 138000 miles 1 owner

About $100. IIRC, the stock return style pump is alot cheapers than the returnless, so I'd guess thats what he's quoting for $140. Just get the FSVT sending unit, or a stock replacement sending unit from spmotorsports.com. I believe they sell them for $100. OP phinfan New CEG\'er P Joined: May 2005 Posts: 23 Ozarks of Missouri	well after 3 days of email tag I just got off the phone with the guys at 1stfordparts.com and guess what the $97 dollars was for a focus pump. the contour pump is $202.00 still the best price i could find that was real and not a get your biz quote. the guy to talk to their is Norman he told me all parts are genuine ford or motercraft and 20% above their cost. I would suggest if you where to use them to call and not do the online thing. they are really a ford dealership.1-800-577-1158 Bowen Scarff Ford. so if they ship it monday ill have it tuesday, I hope. I have been helped by people on this site before and was very happy with and thankful for the help I got. thats why I came back here.
