I've done some searching, but most the problems seem to pertain to winter. I've only noticed this in the last month or so with the hot weather.

Simple problem really; when I go over dips/potholes speed bumps or, open the door and rock the car (on the driver side), I can hear the damn squeeking. it 'seems' better in the colder weather, but I am not 100% sure on that as I haven't had 'colder' weather in a while.

I've had my roomie shake the car while I look, and it seems it might not be coming from the spring strut area. I tried to feel where it was located, but no luck. I think its around where the control arm meets the subframe. again, I'm not 100% sure.

any thoughts? ask questions and I'll try to answer.

Is it in the front or the back? Mine did it in the back on both sides, and it was not the springs/struts but the sway bars or whatever those bars are called back there. After lubbing it down at least 5 times with WD-40 it seems to be happy. I jsut took it and sprayed everything that moved that had to do with the suspension (except strut/spring) and that seemed to do it after i did it a few times. maybe try that and go from there.

I had the exacty same problem with my tour, I ended up just having to WD-40 all of the hinges and latches on that door once every couple of months. If you want to make it last longer, do it with grease.

I had the same problem in my 92 Mazda Protege (front left, ONLY during summer (around 95 degrees out).

I'm getting it from three of my wheels in my 95 Contour, just like you described (few 110+ degree days this month).. not sure what to grease

well you can try the ball joint. It seems all the grease has escaped from it, and is now squeeking. Thats the theory anyways, we're going to fix it sometime next week.

I'll keep you posted...

I had a similar problem and couldn't pinpoint it for a long time. I did find the problem to be the bumper rubbing on the quarter-panel driver side. When I moved the bumper I could see the nipple that sticks into the quarter panel rubbing. I shot some WD-40 and it took care of it. Maybe that may be it.
