Well my car was missfiring about a month or so ago and then it stopped. It was running fine until last week. The code came up as a missfire on cylinder 6. So I replaced sparks plugs and it still missfires. I then replaced the wires and had the code checked again and it is still cylinder 6. I removed the coil pack and the terminals look fine. ANY ideas?

It sounds like it is the fuel injector because I forgot to mention that the car is also runnin lean. With me being new to all this, how hard and/or expensive is it to change an injector?

it isn't to bad, if you where planning to rebuild and clean the intake then you will ahve the perfect opurtunity to change the injectors.

I would double check the wiring to the injectors first, maybe it just came loose

Wow you have been busy since last night. Did you just replace the #6 wire?

If you are going to do a injector replacement, then we should take a whole Saturday and do the whole teardown/ rebuild IM cleaning!

I would sure try some injector cleaner before replacing any injectors.

Since the new plugs didn't work, I put my Ford Racing wires back on and returned the the new ones. I then started it up to drive to the gas station and it wasn't missfiring! But then halfway there, it started again. So I added injector cleaner when I filled my tank and now I am just waiting to see if it'll make a difference.

Well, I just took her out again. It seems that it does not missfire when it is cool, but once it warms up, the missfire won't go away. Does that make any sense?
