Hey all;

To anyone running Accusumps, did you look into tapping the block using a filter adapter plate? Canton has them here:

It looks like our's would be in the bottom box, number #22-569 (according to their thread-size chart). Has anyone tried this, and what problems with installation could there be? It seems like the cleanest way to install it to me.

Yep, thats what I used. No problems. I think I have to much oil right now though. I have 6qts in plus my 2qt accusump. So currently I only use the pump to pre-oil the engine.

Cool, thanks.

To any future searchers: If you use this plate with Accusump's blue -10AN hose, you'll also need to pick up a 1/2" NPT to -10AN male-to-male converter, according to their customer service rep.

Has this been used with headers? I'm wondering about the clearances. I would imagine this would be putting it pretty close to the fan shrouds too?
