CD4E works on fluid pressure transfer, so a vent is required. However, the MTX-75's case isn't pressurized, thus no vent

Learn something new every day:

WRONG ANSWER!!!!...the ally tower /turret MTX's have a vent via the reverse light switch. The later Focus style tower has a rubber vent tube that sits into the plastic cover...and CD4E's also have a vent...Early CD4E have a jiggle type vent on the top of the vertical pan, later CD4E's have a vent tube that secures to the side of the battery tray.....sorry,but thats the way it is!!! There is a vent on MTX-75 shift tower if you changed over to the Focus/Cougar style. It's located to the right of the reverse light switch. Part number is in my How-To sticky'd at the top of the forum.
