every now and then my company has employee appreciation lunches.
today we were visited by the rockwell automation race car.
they even have a 'racing simulator' on the truck.
free food...free drinks...and free ice cream
what a way to spend lunch time!

Yes, the bread is incredible there.

Andale is good- it's across Atlantic Ave, next to the Sovereign Bank. Channel Cafe is good, but pricey, at 300 Summer Street (right next to my building). Sleeper Street Cafe is by the Harbor Walk, just on the other side of the Children's Museum from you. Metro Cafe is good for a quick grab 'n' go (or not so quick if it's 12:30), and Yadda Yadda is around the corner from Metro, just down the street prior to the Firefighter's Museum. Marco Polo on Summer is OK. Nothing spectacular, but, passable. The meatball sub is pretty good, though.

I take lunch from 11:30 - 12:30 every day, so if you're heading east on Summer Street for lunch around then, let me know! I'm at 280, just beyond the Dunkin' Donuts on the other side of the Fort Point Channel bridge.

lol I haven't walked that far for food yet - I get lost easily what with all the 50-story buildings that all look the same. I'm at 1 Federal St so furthest I've walked is to western Summer St where Quizno's and such are. Definitely want to meet for food soon - we'll have to set it up in advance since I discovered yesterday that I can't access CEG at work (was trying to see if the summer meet conflicted with a friend's luncheon). Wednesday?

ahh the threadjacking .. sorry ElKy
