for a 2.5? K&N air filter? I have a KKM adapter plate does anyone know the diamater of this adapter dealio? im too lazy to go out and measure lolll

can't view ebay at work but the drop in K&N filter # is E-0998 iirc

Thanks for quick reply there ! no that E-0998 i think is a drop in for factory airbox, thats what it looks like anyway ........ drop in? Ive got a KKM adapter thingy

That's not a K&N filter for one. Don't waste your time with something just because it "fits". Why not get an actual K&N RU-3530, proven to fit and work perfectly for the 2.5?

Oh I dunno, seems like a good savings.....thats the model number (ru-3530) Thanks....Is there any performance difference between a knock off? so many air filter posts!

scottd60 runs the RU-3530 with the KKM, as far as I know. Fits very well.
RU-3530 can be had for like $33 from ajusa.com.

Thanks guys, ill check out ajusa....anyone know the diameter of the KKM ADAPTER off hand? 3" looks to sound right Doesnt specify the size on AJ's site either LOLOLOL for the ru-3530

3 3/4 inches
The adaptor doesn't need to match exactly. The clamp will take care of the extra space.

Yeah, I almost bought someones used KKM setup a while back, and thought it maybe came with the RU-3530, turns out it didn't.
I ended up going with a BAT adaptor and the RU-3530.
I wouldn't tell them where I was getting it from, which was eBay, because if it did have the RU-3530, everyone would of jumped on it and I would of lost it. Didn't matter in the end anyways.
