Their is a ground strap about 12" long that is on the right hand side (viewed from drivers seat) of the bulkhead above the PCM next to the P/S reservor. What does this go to?

BTW my car came with the 2.5L engine.

It is a "bonding strap". It goes from the motor mount (in front of the power steering pump) to the firewall. At the motor mount, it is held by the same bolt that holds the bracket to hold the poswer steering line up and away from the engine. It provides additional grounding ("bonding") between the engine and the firewall.
