After months of headaches, late nights and general haberdashery, I've given up on my 'Stique.

The final straw came when I was driving home from college. Tried to slow down on the freeway for construction, only to find that my brakes went out.

Despite its many quirks and flaws (I have had MAJOR repair issues with her... check my old posts), I loved the car to death. So, I'm in the market for another Contour.

Hoping to get an SVT... may have to shoot that down, with gas prices the way they are nowadays. The other requisites include the Duratec V6 and under 100,000 miles (preferably under 90k).

Wish me luck!

Sorry to hear that but good to realize that you had a money pit. Now dont get anything less than an SVT.
