Is this what the speedo sensor looks like?

... in the bottom right corner ... just to the right of the fluid tube.

If so, consider it sold!

on my 01 cougar CD4E the speedo sensor is in a different location, and the location where the contour puts it is blocked off by a plate. removing the plate you can still use the old style so the CD4E i got lying around got both styles in it

If you fully drain the trans, you should be able to ship it like HMS does with their MTX-75's ... in a large Rubbermaid tote. If it will fit, DHL will only charge $70 to ship it and that included pickup from your location. $225 is quite a lot for shipping ... I should know, I work for a logistics company and we ship stuff like this all day long.

I will check with my company about doing a pickup in KC, MO and how much it will cost to transport to me at cost. If I can find a decent deal, do you have a problem delivering the trans (strapped down on a pallet) to a local hub for someone like Forward Air or Con-Way?
