well i was driving around tonight an i realized that there is a dyno in our very own town! lol
i only passed quickly and only saw the "dyno" sign, but it was a dyno none the less!!
i found it on RT.88 in castle shannon, about 2 buildings down from castle shannon fire department. its in the back of some kind of racing memorabilia store and it was just build.
i havent had a chance to really check it out (since i just found out about it tonight) but ill try to get more info about it soon hopefully!
if anyone else has seen, been to or even knows anything more about this...lets hear it!

keep us updated. i live 45 min north of pittsburgh. that would be a nie drive for me.

There's also one up at IUP. I just got hired at Slowboy Racing and we have Dyno Packs. You take your front wheels off and they bolt up to the hubs. We have 4 so we can dyno AWD's. Let me know if you guys want to all get toghter and have a dyno day. I'll see if I can get us a deal, but only if everyone's serious about showing up.

Yeah, that's Speed Nation.. they just built that barn sorta' building in the back where the dyno is. Two of my friends are good buddies with the kid who owns it.. and they have recently been getting alot of cheap/free dyno time and basic parts, shop time help, etc.. (inturn for some advertising and stuff for him. We're all going out to Quaker City for the import shootout). I just tried calling Tim to get more details but usually Saturdays are really busy so he isn't answering his phone. I'll leave an update later on with pricing, etc etc for anyone that is interested.

get some prices together. i am VERY interested, as i want to see what the whip has got. and i need to get it tuned anyways. now for a tune do i need to buy my own wide band o2 or do the tuners just use one that is at the shop?

I'll get some prices when I get back from my vacation. I leave today and won't get back til next Saturday. As soon as I know more I'll put a post up and see who all is willing to actually show up.

Hey, talked to my buddy.. Guys name is Cannon
Prices he believes is as follows:
$75.00 for 10 runs
$100.00 for an hour
$150.00 for an hour + them tunning on your equipment
$150.00 and beyond if you need tuning equipment etc.. from them as needed
Also, he was saying he's a real good guy, so all those prices aren't set in stone.
It's also a mustang dyno, btw
He also has a wieght balancing machine, with 4 scales to tune in your car for autocross or what have you. Also has a lift available.

yes i agree. i can get like 5 cars to come down from butler alone.. do they do group rates? there is aguy in slippery rock who has a svt tour, i told him about this and he said SWEET.. just need info on a date and stuff.....
