Soon as they open for business in OR, I'll be calling...

Took a closer look at the web site. The caliper brackets are designed to have stock calipers fit their PowerSlot rotors. The rotors are $110 each. So to upgrade your brakes with your stock calipers you're spending ~$335 plus shipping... I'll confirm if the PowerShots are the olny rotor option with the kit.

I think the FSVT upgrade kit will give you equivalent or better performance, known quality, more options for rotors at a lower cost, and more options for pads as well, AND the calipers even come loaded with factory pads. Looks like Bill Jenkins still may be the best deal goin' until the 300mm x 280mm brackets get built.

Be back with more info:

Apparently, the PS universal hardware kit is NOT available for our platform. I don't know why it gets listed in the vehicle specific parts availability for the Contour, Cougar, and Mystique. The full Big Brake kit is availble for over $1000.

On the vehicles that the Plus kit is available for, the kit requires use of the PowerShot rotors. Still approaching $400.

Either way, I still think the FSVT conversion is the better way to go.
