Just wanted to know if anyone would be interested in this run. I have time to go to the little tourist trap down on the other side of the mountains and back, so if your interested let me know.

I have out of town relatives then.

But the notion of going up to the Sound area for a visit sounds tempting. Maybe after the next round of tweaks/mods...

How far out? Winthrop? Omak? Grand Coulee Dam?

IMO the best way to go is out on WA20 (North Cascades Highway) to Grand Coulee, then take US2 back to I5 (Everett). It's one hell of a loop!

Unfortunately my car is still in pieces. I spoke with Bill Jenkins yesterday...hopefully my parts have already shipped. Even if they were here today I wouldn't be able to make the run though.

I am gonna cry if I miss that run this year.

I might not be here when Hwy 20 opens next summer.

We can always make it the next weekend. I do not mind. As long as I go before I go on vacation in the beginning of August.

Mike when are your parts coming. Also what did you order. I gotta order my parts and hope like hell i can do my transmission before i go on vacation.

Beowulf, you definitely should make this run one last time. It's a beautiful summer! Which weekend would be good for you this month?

Llane, I ordered replacement synchros and updated shift forks. The 2nd gear synchro went on backorder for some time, apparently because there is an updated version and it had to ship from somewhere in Europe. I'm dealing with Bill Jenkins in Vegas. He said the part has been released from the depot, so he'll be able to ship my order soon.

I still need to order a clutch. I've heard SVTCuervo turns them around pretty fast, so I'm not particularly worried about it.

I doubt the car will be together by even the 15th. The 22nd is a possibility, while more definitely the 29th weekend.
