Hey guys. Just got done putting a new front fender on my wife's truck. It's the first time i've replaced a body panel, so I was kinda excited. The down side was that many bolts were old and broke, so we had to drill new holes, then tap the threads in. I had also never done this before. I was kinda happy the tap&die set I had worked so easy. Anyway, just saying hi! Hope everyone is having a good summer.

Sweet! I should be starting a little body work on the mystique soon... It needs some minor work from when my basketball hoop fell over on my hood and when my GF's aunt backed into my passenger side door...
But, i'll get to try my luck with a little custom paint work... But shhh... don't tell anyone...

Scott, nice job! I've really only got experience taking off body panels not putting them on. Andy, you still haven't gotten the damage fixed from the Aunt backing into your car? You're a patient person!

I haven't had any time, im a full time student and this summer I have been working full time and taking Calc II... Doesn't leave much free time... But, on the bright side, i've got some creative ideas for when I repaint the hood... Im thinking ghost flames that follow the ridges in the Mystique hood... I want something that blends in well and is close to the same color, maybe a pearl flake or something along those lines... But, today was my Calc II final exam and I'll have some days off fairly soon so i'll get started on the car again... Im starting to pick up parts for a tune-up, the car has almost 95k on it now...

I guess that doesn't leave you much time to fix up the car.:( Calc II... Glad that's over for you. I suck at math. Ghost flames? Can't wait to see it when you get it all done.

LOL! I guess if I was good at math I might have liked Calc. I doubt it though.
