I just picked up a pre 98 dash with 2 gauges molded in there. I have decided to mold something else there. Right now my idea is to mold a pocket on the bottom and where the gauges are to mold my new Escort Passport ZR3 shifter...

I don't know if that is the best idea. Also I am going to use ABS plastic. What do you guys think is the best to mold with besides fiberglassing it?

Also I have the cupholder hole there. Should I get a replacement cupholder, try to make my own, or mold something else there?

When I molded in my oil pressure guage I used some PVC pipe and some Evercoat body filler. great stuff.. Dries rock hard and is SO much easier to sand than bondo is.
