Just to give you an idea of what the world famous Dougs Muffler charged me for true duals (2 1/4") and the "mystery mod"...$350.00. I got the rest of the parts from Stazi, Magnaflow everything (SS Magnaflow race mufflers w/4" tips a part of the mufflers, Magnaflow resonaters, Magnaflow X-pipe and the flex pipes) and that was another $525.00. Add in a set of MIL eliminators from Dallas Mustang and I spent about $950.00 To be honest with you though, if I had to do it again, I'd just go with some mufflers, probably some Brullens because they sound great, not as raspy as my old setup and alot deeper sounding

im just going to simplify my exhaust and eliminate the bend around the gas tank. i might eliminate the cat if the dynomax superturbo muffler can keep it pretty quiet. the setup i have now is pretty loud and im tired of people trying to race me at every light.

I want something somewhat discreet and I think that means a more simplified approach after searching the forums. Thats fine with me because I would like the Mystique to be unassuming to avoid the attention like cvkillacontour98 mentioned, not enough horsepower or desire to race those muscle cars out there anyway . I'm cool with a nice sound and maybe a little response improvement.

How about your remove the resonater and replace it with a "cherry bomb" and then replace the muffler with either a Brullen or Vibrant muffler The "cherry bomb" has been used by people here over the years as a way to replace the resonater and give a little more sound, but reduce the rasp by NOT having anything inplace of the resonater. PM Stazi, he'll hook you up with something your lookin' for or you can take my advice

i have the dynomax cherry bomb\glasspack. its pretty good for $20. it has a strait through smooth core with no scoops or louvers just small holes. most peopel say the dynomax superturbos suck but i want my car to be a lot quieter. i had one on my car before and it didnt seem like it was too restrictive. it will probally keep the sound level down when i remove the main cat. im guessing no cat and a superturbo will flow way better than having a cat with just straight pipe. anyone have a different opinion on that?

Thanks for the input klasse act. It sucks to have to go through the expense of something like that. I've done it before like I'm sure others have only to find out that something simpler would have been adequate. Thats why Im eating up everything you guys are saying when it comes to a simplified exhaust. It seems the way to go in the end, especially if its your daily driver.

I didn't mind it at the time as I got "swayed" into thinking it was going really going to do something and to be honest with you, I don't think it did other than make my bank account lighter The muffler and resonater is the way to go, even getting an SVT exhaust on a non-SVT is a good
