As kits get delivered & installs completed, we will all get more comfortable with them, I'm sure.

I'm with TourDeForce on this one.

I went to his site and he doesn't even have it listed at this time. He does have some nice kits for some other vehicles but nothin listed for the Contour or Cougar.

Plus I also would like the piping ran a different way.

dont know if u all know but Thomas Knight has been doin this for a loooooooong time. He is known for going out and making FI kits for cars that noone really does. i remember like 6 years ago when he had a turbo kit for the 90-95 sohc 1.9l escort. i trust him, but i want to see what the kit does for the others first. but i do want one bad.

I would also be interested in the charger/bracket only...

Maybe if we can get enough interest, he might give in!

He quoted 1600 for bracket and all parts less the pipes.

Wonder if we can make a GB off that price! Im ready to drop the cash in July before this ends, even if I dont know when I'll install it. Just to have around for a snowwy month here in Cleveland

Let me know, i was going to buy the whole kit now? lol

The people over on the cougar site. Have the first 4 kits.

blackcoog had installed his. He says the power steeing pulley was not recieved in his package. So tk sent it out to him. So far the kit seems pretty good. His powersteering line has to by manipulated to fit inside the bracket. The pipes also came black, not polished.

I am thinking we can get some one to build us a smaller ps pulley so we can increase psi for more cfm increase.

The ps pulley bolts on top of our current ps pulley which is then belted to run the supercharger.

That added pulley can be smaller. cough cough

How much would a pipe kit cost to fnish this project guys?

200 including fmic?

The supplied PS pulley will have to be modified to give a LARGER SC drive pulley to get more boost. If you make the PS pulley smaller, you're over-boosting the PS. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. The pulley/shaft at the SC end is already pretty darn small.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
