I may be wrong too, but my understanding was that the 2.0 in the Focus was a Zetec up until 2005(?) - whatever model year saw the dropping of the SVT and addition of the ST - when they began using the Duratec 20. The Wikipedia article sort of implies that, but it's certainly not clear.

Interesting article in Wikipedia. The Duratec seems to be a pretty solid and extensible engine platform.
