You've got plenty of time to get this taken care of and as far as your wifes car goes, well, its got "low ego emission" so it should be fine  Seriously though, the car is built for that type of road and as long as you take it easy the first time out, you'll be fine, trust me!

Nope, shiny purdy still! FSVT fronts for the win! I've got a complete CSVT rear end set to swap on my SE. Unfortunately, everything is rusted together, so I'll have to do a lil sand-blastin. Might even paint the hub assy's while I'm at it.

I thought you were runnin' a 40 series, not a 45 series because I always thought your tires looked like rubber bands, but maybe that a couple years ago Hell if your rubbin' that bad, maybe you need to go a P215/40/17 then

Are you talking to me or Eric now? Eric had 225/45s kuhmo asx on his car when we were all there last time.
I had 215/45
I know have 225/45
I have 225/50/16s comin.
And I think it's just the offset off the wheels causing the rubbing. I don't mind the rubbing, but the cutting is what gets me. I've banged and cut the offending parts, but I'm not sure yet if I did enough, I still gotta check. Mainly I just don't want it cutting the new race rubber, but unfortunately, the wheels I have coming also have a stupid offset (but weigh ~14lbs.)

Sorry about that, I was thinkin of Erics ride not yours  All I remember of you was last year a red blur of the Scort and some Vettes heading into Tellico Plains and that was all we saw of you! Lets not let that happen again, ok  LOL! BTW, how many days is now?

Damn, I don't even need to post! LOL! Years ago, I was running 205/40/17 Kumho Ecsta 711's that ran ok. I have just finished killing a set of 225/45/17 Kumho ASX's. I am going to replace them with the same size & type. 35,000miles on one set of tires! Me rikey ASX's!

I wasn't talking bout last year and the scort, I mean the ol red and yeller contour the year before.
