I searched and all I found was pre 98 trunks on 98+ cars. Does anyone have close up pictures of the tail lights? I am trying to see what the pre 98 tail lights would look like on my 98+ svt.

they would look like a pre-98 rear end.. Or do you mean how they would fit in the 97+ slots? If thats the case IIRC they fit perfectly.

look here This is what i am trying to do. I know they will bolt up fine. But i want to see how much of a gap there will be on the upper part of the tail lights.

Nothing on the actual body of the car is different between the 95-97 and 98-00. Only the light changed.
However it looks on the 95-97 is how it will look on the 98-00.

IIRC the Pre-98 tails dont have as "sharp" an edge and look better.

Even with the black rubber pieice above the taillight that, IMHO, would look stupid. Red reflector on the trunk and then stepping down 1/4" to the taillight.

Crap, nevermind. This whole time I'm thinking Pre-98 trunk lid with Pre-98 outers and LEDs inside. I forgot he is still leaving the Post-98 trunk lid.
