Well i finnaly saw the sticker on my car after owning contours for 6 years...does the car actually weigh 4400 lbs?

The GVWR stands for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. This is the weight of the car with the maximum number of occupants (In this case 5) averaging 180 pounds each plus all fluids (gas, oil, etc.) plus cargo.
