I had my tranny go out, (hole in tranny, fuild drained. was driven home on before I noticed, then repaired hole. The tranny then last abou 15000 miles after) Now when I am looking at my LSD it looks ok, how can I tell if it was damaged, and if i should put it in my new tranny?

Send it to the manf. for inspection. No one would know better than them.

From HMS...
FYI...As a Quaife America dealer we send diffs to Quaife for inspection re: wear, debris, damage etc. In most cases the only charge to us is shipping. Do not DIY the internal inspection of a Quaife, you will void the warranty. On Torsens we, HMS, have stripped and checked many units as it appears Ford Racing/Torsen do not offer this as a warranty/check service. An ATB diff is a complex piece of engineering, should not be considered a DIY job unless you have done them before. TH
