Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums Modifications Audio Starter Battery to pair with Isolated Deep Cycle?

I bought a Hawker Odyssey 1200 and just swapped it out with whatever old crappy battery was in my engine compartment.

Now I'm in the process of upgrading my wires and audio system, so I was hoping to get some advice from you guys. What kind of starter battery would you reccommend putting in the engine bay, so that I can move the PC1200 to my trunk and isolate it? Should I get a second PC1200.

My system consists of a JL Audio Slash series 1000/1 and the 450/4, a 12" JL W7, a pair of 6.5" Focal K2P components in the front and some 6x9's in the back.

r u trying to reduce weight? u can get a smaller battery like the dynabatts for the starter battery or go with a optima redtop starter. another hawker certainly wouldnt be a bad thing
