Anyone know of a good place for windshield replacement around Detroit? I stupidly cracked mine trying to take the wipers off. I've heard of those mobile vans that can change it while my car's parked (at work, for example). Was wondering if those can be as good as a body shop. Thanks.

Harmon Auto Glass came out and did mine at my old office in Allen Park. Did an excellent job, and was very quick. Be sure to check w/ your insurance company and see if they have a special coverage for your windshield. Mine ended up only costing like $25 out of pocket becuase of my ins. co.

Have to break it to get it out most likely. Most places cover your ded. I just got one done and requested PPG glass and they still covered everything.
