I just figured that I know that someone is going to say "Search", but for the sake of keeping posts in this section, anyone ever do the FSVT exhaust header? How hard was it and how did/does it work for ya?

Also, what about the intake manifold from the FSVT?

It would be a direct bolt on.

May have to move an o2 bung.....but don't know for sure.

Gives good gains in HP and TQ.

So it'll bolt right up to the exhaust with no modification???

alright, i feel extreemly stupid asking this question, but ive always wondered about it and since were trying to keep this section alive haha.....

but what exactly do headers do that gives you better hp/tq? is it just better flow or something?

pardon my ignorance and feel free to flame away

It should.....fits the regular Focus Zetec.

I think it would fit with minimal modification if any.

Header gives better power because of the smooth and larger runners which go into a small collector before entering the rest of your exhaust. The stock "log" manifold has tiny ports/piping and it goes into a "log" collector before entering the rest of the exhaust.

Think as it trying to breath through a tiny straw.

Why don't you see if it fits you Crapolla?

I planned on possibly replacing my header with this one before I got rid of my tour.
