My strut pinch bolt needed some persuading to come out, and after being introduced to Mr Fire Wrench and the magical compound "drillium" it came right out, but sadly did not survive the operation.
Anyone know the specs in case the local dealer doesn't have the part tomorow?
Thanks in advance!

You can just get a bolt from a local bolt store, 50 cent at most vs. what ever the dealer will charge. Sorry, I don't know what size it is.

no special grade / coatings for this one? It's not like the magical $80 dollar control arm bolts

I had to get one and the one I got at the local nut and bolt place was the same grade. If you possible could pull the one out of the other side and take it with you, that could make it easier to match up.

cool thanks for the reply.
What a PITA that bolt was!!!! Even with an impact wrench, torch, and some drilling it still took a big ass breaker bar to get it loose.

Florida cars RULE! Rarely have such problems with hardware.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Pretty sure it's grade 5. Should have a gold/light bronze color to them.
Function before fashion.

A local dealer had one for $9 dollars.
I looked at it and it appeared to be your average bolt so I did what Kremit suggested and got one from the local HW store. I think it was an M12 grade 8, cost all of like $1 each.
