Any info or comments on the spec lightweight option? I'm thinking about getting a stage 1 clutch and going lightweight with it. Car is in pieces due to shift rod breakage and clutch is in need of replacement.

I have no experience with the lightweight option, but I got a Spec aluminum flywheel with my normal Stage 1. I'm unsure how many pounds you lose with the lightweight pressure plate, but I doubt you would net more weight loss than with a lightweight flywheel alone. Now a lightweight clutch and flywheel would be something VERY anorexic.

I believe its around 3-4 pounds advertised loss with the lightweight plate. I'm just looking for some diet without going the full flywheel. I'm having my svt flywheel shaved to lose a little weight.
