I am starting a project that involves help from everyone in our area. I am looking for a complete contour shell with the back half all in tact and undamaged. This is what would be ideal for me:
98+ body
rear bumper
trunk lid with all hinging
complete drivetrain from rear
complete suspension from rear
good rear doors
does not need brakes
no glass
no interior
no engine
no skirts
does not need any salvagable parts on the front
good taillights and reflector
black prefferably
no exhaust
no wheels if unavailable
basically a worn out contour with blown motor/trans, any year any color, with front end damage - something that costs next to nothing.... possibly $300 or less.

I have alot of parts that you might be interested in for this project... only a few are Contour specific though as the rest would be from a 2000 Mercury Cougar (axles and almost a complete engine)

I just looked in the classifieds and there are some for the right price, just not located locally.... Are there any at junkyards around anyone that they would let go with those things for that amount?
Actually, I don't want to tell anyone yet what it is for - but elky, your guesses are incorrect...
