Is it possible to replace a broken cup holder without removing the entire center console?

Yup. Just remove the trim piece by prying it up. Then under that there are 2 phillips head screws holding the entire assembly in place. Remove those and it will all come out.

And the ATX cupholders can be used in the MTX. Reverse is tight but doable.
