How do I check my ignition switch?

Car wont start, not even a click.
PATS Checks good

How do I replace the ignition switch?

It sticks mechanically, have to jiggle it to stop the chimes from bonging when I pull the key out.

Gary

A recent no start condition was attributed to a TPS wiring problem in NE forum.

Basicly I feel really bad, and wish it was something more...

The TPS harness was shorted out. All the wires touched after the final wrap. I knew that the computer is a very very very hard thing to fry, even if you shorted everything out, it's hard to kill. I moved the TPS harness (last thing I went for) and the fuel pump and relays clicked with each movement of the wire... I openned the harness up, made sure nothing was touching... she fired right up...

Also check for loose or broken ground near the the battery or starter, loose wires near the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor.

Everything works fine except for the starter.

I even tried jump starting the car but the battery is OK.

Radio, headlights, signals etc. all working.

Just can't get the starter to turn over.

Very strange that it worked fine until I turned it off on Friday.

She started up maybe 8-10 times on Friday just fine...no indication of any problems, no CEL codes.

Grrrrrr
