OP zetec herman CEG\'er Z Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 160 Hamburg, New York	Not sure if this is an issue or not. When my tour's air conditioning is on their is a belt wine. When the air is turned off it goes away. It's not quiet or obsessively loud. I can't hear it when I'm in the car but others had told me they can hear it. The air works fine. I'm thinking its just putting a little strain on the belt. 96 Contour GL 2.0, ATX "Herman" 101K "A Clean zetec is happy zetec"

Did you open the hood to try and determine the source? It could be the belt, tensioner, a/c compressor, alternator, or Power Steering pump.
