Hey all,

My back suspension is definitely on the fritz (bouncing like a rabbit running away from a rabid dog!) and I have ordered the BAT suspension kit so I will be replacing all my suspension. Also the steering seems a bit slopply...though, that could be because of the really bad rear suspension.

That said, I don't think that's what's causing the creaking.

I know this is probably almost impossible to diagnose without seeing it in person, but has anyone else heard this creaking sound? All I have to do is push down on the rear or front quarter panels and I hear a creak/squeaking sound.

I think it might be that the CONTROL ARM ASSEMBELIES...any ideas?

Any idea what the difference between vertical bushings and horizontal bushings?

Can you buy control are bushings? The rubber ...I think that's the cause, should it be oiled or siliconed? Will that fix the noise?

In addition to struts and springs, check the sway bars for the creaks (oiling/greasing it is usually the fix). Also, check where the end of the bumpers meet the front fenders or rear quarterpanels. Sometimes a misadjusted/loosened bumper cover will give a low creak too.

Waterproof grease usually denotes more resistance to drying out or washing out due to water getting on it.
