OK guys. Just wtf is up with my numbers this year.

131 whp? It's auto but thats no excuse, something is horribly wrong. To fill in those who never found out, my car stalled a mile or so from Dynotech as we left the dyno, and several times on the way back home Sunday evening/monday morning.



Still.. 131 whp! CAI, trubendz exhaust. Could it REALLY be my stock engine manifolds, finally clogged up with broken honeycomb? SVT4STD suggested the crankshaft sensor or a failing coil pack, all making sense in their own ways. The car will stall randomly, whether it be at 45 mph cruising or decellerating; after the car sits for 15 minutes it will start up fine~ it will keep running if I hold rpms around 2k and slip it into neutral while coming to a stop, but you have no idea how dangerous/confusing it is.

I would post elsewhere (hence, troubleshooting) I just feel it's more appropriate here because I really want to improve those numbers.

The car dropped from 139whp->131 in one year.

The car's on ramps until the issue is solved. Driving the mum's Toreass instead.

well i didnt dyno but i bet i still win. i guess thats what happens when you have a zetec.

i ran a 17.1 at the track with a 2.6 60'
