Looking at an up-grade for the wife's Mystique. VIN of the "prospect" is: 1ZVFT61L015603024 / '01 Cougar. Please send any replies to: William.L.Entriken@uscg.mil (it's intended to be a surprise B'Day present to the wife...) Thanks for in advance for any help. Will

See if this link works for you. Also, i think you had a number wrong, substitute a W for the V, third letter in VIN.

If you can't view it, let me know. It looks clean.

Hey, Thanks very much Pick! The only thing that looked a little "sketchy" was the 5 month ownership, with it subsequently sold at auction...? Thanks again for the info, I appreciate it.

My guess is someone bought it, then traded it in to a new car dealer, who figured it wasn't worth their time and sent it to auction.

I traded my piece of crap 96 Contour in to a higher-end used car dealer on my SVT. They sent the 96 straight to the auction block.

I could be that it sat at one dealer for 5 months, and then they sent it to auction, and then it sold to a 2nd dealer.
