corrrect me if i am wrong.

Doesn't that show sign's of ingnition problems? Plugs are not gapped right? maybe wires don't have proper connection.?

Plugs, wires AND coil are all new or known to be in working order....plugs are gapped as tey should be.

Not sure josh, My svt had the rocky mountain on the cold run, the two subsequents smoothed out quite a bit to nearly no ups and downs. If I remember, Petes SE last year was up and down like crazy!

Pete was missfiring. My car was warmed up prior to dynoing.

my Se did a similar think to your SE, at the top end it got erratic, Wayne said that was because the car was going way rich and that caused problems, said that there is power to be had once the A/F is straightened out

I can't see the images at work but your A/F on the SVT seemed pretty level across that range

I think my hole plot was kinda rough, but it was most noticable in the high end

also I don't remember but what was the smoothing factor, I know if you play with that your chart will look different. This can be done in the viewer

also where on dynotechs web page can you download your data? I looked this morning and couldn't find it, and I thing Wayne said that it would be there for us to get to

josh, something that I noticed, the smoothing factor on the Dynotech plots is zero, when I view my dyno I had done last year locally the smoothing factor is 5, by goingt o zero the lines become more jagged

have to see if they post the run files on there web site, if not we need to see if we can get them so that you can look at them

Still looks like ignition problems. If the wires aren't new less than one year, I'd still suspect them. Plugs are the least likely. Coil would be maybe second on the list, corrosion on the plugs or pins may be an issue.

Also a good clean ground for the PCM harness plug on the right side fender is VERY important. That is where the PCM grounds the current that it fires the ignition coils with. So if the chassis ground on the left fender is poor or corroded from the (-) on the battery, clean it. Then clean all the grounds on the right fender with a wire brush and put them back together.
You can actually gain horsepower from better firing ignition and proper system grounds.
