Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I can't find it if it has!

1995 Contour SE

There's plenty of general discussion about link/bushing wear on the front sway bars but no specific advice on carrying out the repair. This biggest problem is the need to drop/lower the front sub-frame. Does anyone have any experience/advise they would care to pass on? Specifically, I'm wondering if you can get away with just lowering the rear of the sub-frame to allow access to the bolts securing the brackets or does the whole sub-frame/engine assembly have to be lowered? I called my local main dealer and he quoted me 1 1/2 hours which seems pretty good but I'd still like to do it myself.

Thanks

Thanks for the very prompt response. I'm off to buy my new tool.

Cheers
