He wanted the rear disc brake setup so he could convert his rear drums to disc. I have everything he would need from my parts car. I tried PM'ing him and it kept failing. He did post "he would hightower headlights in exchange" if that helps any.

What does it mean to "hightower" headlights, is that polishing?  If it's who I'm thinking of, he's got a wife on here too. You could try her but I've heard she's evil...good luck

I have no idea what he means by hightower the headlights honestly.If it is who you think it is could you let them know I have what he is looking for? You can see his post in the want ads under brakes.

To "Hightower" the headlights means to cut them apart  then paint the chrome black or body color  then reseal them. It's named that because he was the first to have the balls to cut up a set of headlights.

I'm really surprised that some of you have been on here for three years now and never heard of Hightower headlights. It was the first aesthetic mod available for the 98+ lights IIRC.

Chris and his wife (original handle "Mushu" .. dunno her real name) are on these forums a lot. However they've both changed their handles several times in the past year  so it's extremely difficult to search to find them for you.

That sound's kinda cool, I wondr what it look's like. Has anyone hear done it, are they're picture's? I can't believe someone would cut the headlight's those bugger's aren't cheap and it seem's like it'd be a pain to get them to seel back up & make them fit right after the get cut up and if you paint them what the heck is the lite gonna reflexOr off of when their is no shinie chrometo reflect lite an make them brite enough to use at nite or is it just for a show car like the lite bulsb they sel on ebay that are listed for off-rode vehilce's only that ar not used on teh hihwayz cause they'd be iilegally on the car an you'd get in troulbe cause the're not D.O.T. aprpoved an that meens that thees so-called "hightower" lites ar probibly not legall niether an I thot this sight was aganst street racing so why is this activty o.K. ?
