Hi I have a 95' Ford Contour SE V6 5 spd. I am pretty new at running codes for CEL's, but would like to learn how to do it. What do I need to run the codes and where do I plug in this tool to get the codes? Detailed instructions or Pictures would be excellent Thanks again!

Maybe I'm loosing my eyesight I checked the FAQ on the main page of Duratec Maintenance, but could not find anything relating to how to check codes. Could you post the link? Thanks!

Thanks alot! That looks like what I needed to see. Now that I know where to connect to, it looks like I would rather use a tool to connect to this jack and provide the codes. Are there any that you would recommend that could do this or would I need additional equipment? Thanks again!

Autozone or Advance sells the Actron CP9015 for OBD-I (1995 of older Fords) for $35. This is a plug in type code reader if you do not want to do the jumper paper clip method.
