I'm sorry for seeming a little ignorant, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I was told to try and look over in this forum, because my thread has gone dead, and no one's responded to my last 2 posts over at NECO.

I was told I need all of my O2 sensors until I get a tune that disables the downstream lower...I am assuming these are the two found on the Y-Pipe and at the bottem of the front header. Correct?

Also, my 3.0 is in, and my last problem is my fuel rail... I am using the 3.0 UIM/LIM...but when it comes to the fuel rail, I need to some how connect the fuel pressure regulator into the system, correct? I mean, it seems like common sense. But the only reason I ask is because, with the 3.0 UIM, I don't think that it has a vacuum tube for the fuel pressure regulator...and if it does, what color is it? Thanks.

When you say 3L UIM/LIM do you mean oval port manifolds?!

As for the lower o2's look in duratec performance for Todd's MIL eliminator write up.

Until I hear back from you I cannot answer much more than that.

Thanks...I'll check it out

I should also add that I am a 99' Cougar, so I'm returnless, which is why I'm having my fuel rail issue.

If you had an escape fuel rail it would bolt right up to your returnless car. I'm not sure if it has the same regulator though. It might be worth sourcing one of those.

From what I have seen the Escape fuel rail isn't a drop in for ANY Contour configuration either return OR returnLESS. Totally different setups.

Sound like this guy need a cutom made fuel rail a la every other oval port Contour.

If he has a returnless fuel system he only need to mod the inlet pipe, he doesn't need to fab up a return. I did this on the 200 SVT I did a week ago.

The inlet mates up perfectly on the return cars. I figured it would work with the returnless ones perfectly. I suppose you had to add on the correct regulator though right?

I should be finishing up another 3L Contour SVT tonight after I get the fittings for the rail drilled out. Stainless steel sucks to drill through.
