OP silverchris New CEG\'er S Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 23 Orangeville, Ontario	OK my contour had its water pump explode lol. I think it over heated abit but the head gasket is fine. But the gauge on the dash is stuck at full. Has this ever happened to any of you guys? do yuo think it might be a sensor? what sensor controls the dash temp gauage Thanks, Silverchris 91 Mazda 323 -soon to have 1.6l turbo swap 95 Ford Contour -stock

When I took out the cluster I turned it back down, but as soon as I started it, it began to slowly climb back up to full. LGR Mystique New CEG\'er L Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 43	Well on my 98' Mystique it was the closet one to the Waterpump and yes a single wire attached to it.Unscrew it and make sure you have a pan ready to catch some coolant.Hope this helps

Does anyone have the part number for it? Also when the fan comes on it stays on untill the car is shut off.
